Areas of Operations

From headquarters in Durango, Colorado, Aka Energy Group, LLC has developed and operates facilities in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas primarily in the Anadarko, Arkoma, Cherokee, Denver-Julesburg, and Permian basins. Construction of projects in Appalachia is anticipated to begin in 2011.

Aka’s current assets include 12 cryogenic gas processing plants and numerous refrigeration and treating facilities with over 500,000 mcfd of processing and treating capacity; 2,000 miles of gas gathering pipelines connected to 3,000 wells, and 100,000 horsepower of gas compression.
