Aka Energy Group, LLC (Aka Energy Group) is an enterprise of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe (SUIT) and is under the management of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund.   Aka Energy Group maintains, operates, and pursues opportunities in the natural gas midstream sector of the energy industry.

We gather natural gas from producing wells and compress the gas to necessary pressure requirements, treat the raw gas to remove impurities (water vapor, hydrogen sulfide, etc.), process it to produce natural gas liquids (NGLs), and, at some facilities, fractionate the NGLs into discrete components (ethane, propane, butanes, and natural gasoline) for local distribution and sale. Following treating and processing, we deliver the remaining gas residue for sale into gas utility or transmission pipelines.

Our core areas of operation are in the Rocky Mountains, Permian Basin and the Mid-Continent regions of the United States.
